Accessibility
Coppermont is committed to making this Site accessible to as wide an audience as possible, regardless of technology or ability. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What We Are Doing
- Semantic HTML: Pages are built with structured, meaningful markup to support screen readers and assistive technologies.
- Keyboard navigation: All interactive elements — links, forms, and navigation menus — are reachable and operable using a keyboard alone.
- Colour contrast: Text and interactive elements meet or exceed the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required by WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Alternative text: Images that convey information include descriptive alternative text. Decorative images are marked appropriately so assistive technologies can skip them.
- Responsive design: The Site adapts to a wide range of screen sizes and zoom levels without loss of content or functionality.
- Focus indicators: Visible focus outlines are preserved throughout the Site so keyboard users can track their position at all times.
- Skip navigation: A “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page allows keyboard and screen reader users to bypass repeated navigation.
Known Limitations
We are continually working to improve accessibility. Some third-party embedded content (such as maps or external data widgets) may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We review these on an ongoing basis and seek accessible alternatives wherever possible.
Feedback and Assistance
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of this Site. If you encounter a barrier, find that content is not accessible, or need information in an alternative format, please contact us and we will respond promptly.
Technical Specifications
